Customer Review: Easy to use and effective!

I just used this little Toro snow thrower in Arlington, Virginia, in our megastorm of 2009--17 inches total! We went out a little late yesterday when there was at least 12 inches on the ground and it was still coming down, but this baby worked like a charm! Today, after another 5 inches, it was also a breeze!
And I have to say, it even did a decent job at the bottom of the drive where the snow plow had clumped piles of wet snow! Probably not a great thing to do for the engine, but taking it slow, it got through alot of the nasty stuff. My neighbors used it, too, and it did a splendid job--I am now officially a rock star in my neighborhood and they are all thinking about going out a picking one up for themselves!
It did stall out a couple of times. If I couldn't get it started with the pull thingy, I just plugged it into the outlet and it started right up.
I bought several gallons of gasoline last year and found yesterday I had to mix the 2.6 ounces of oil which came with the thrower with only ONE gallon of gas. Which meant I had to find a one gallon container to pour one gallon of gasoline in. That was a problem. I had to use two 2-quart empty milk jugs I was lucky to have on hand and eyeball 1/2 of the the oil into each.
All in all, this snow thrower did an exceptional job for its size and I hope it last a long time.
